History

CET was established in the year 1981 by Government of Orissa. It was a constituent college of the Orissa University of Agriculture & Technology, Bhubaneswar. The college has become a constituent college of Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Orissa in the year 2002. The institute is recognised by AICTE, New Delhi.
