Interested candidates who are appearing for this post should have the age of  less than 35 years. Relaxation of age will applicable as per government rules.
 
Application Fee : 

Candidates have to pay of Online Rs.250/- for all category candidates. Exempted fees for SC / ST category candidates throgh  pay-in-slip in State bank of India specially opened account.no 31713133703 at CAG Branch, New Delhi, on behalf of NHPC.
 
Mode of Selection :

Selection will be based on performance in Written Examination and Interview.

So handling such plants and costly affairs NHPC requires engineers of high caliber.Though it is true that contribution of hydro power in overall power production is low but in future keeping in mind Kyoto protocol hydro power will be the prime source of electricity.
