Qualification/Educational Criteria : 

Candidates who wish to apply for this post must posess the following skill and criteria : Pass out Diploma in Raiological / Medical Physics / Master Degree in Science with Physics from any recognized Institution / University. An intership of minimum 12 months in  equipped radiation therapy Department.

Candidates who are appearing for this post should have the age of 18 to 40 years.
 
Pay Scale/Salary(in Rs.) : 

Selected candidates would be eligible to get the pay scale of around .Rs.9,300 to 34,800 with Grand Pay Rs.5,400/- per month.
 
Application Fee : 

Interested candidates have to pay application fee Rs.500/-  (exculding procesing charges of Rs.10/-) for General / OBC category candidates. Rs.250/- for SC / ST category candidates through the counters of J&K Bank opened in the offices of J&K PSC at Solina, Srinagar/Resham Ghar Colony, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu from 9:30 A.M to 03:00 P.M on all working days.

Mode of Selection :

Selection candidates will be based on Interview with rule 51 of Jammu & Kashmir PSC.

About Jammu & Kashmir PSC
Jammu & Kashmir PSC (Public Service Commission) Recruitment Board was set up on 31/12/1954. Subsequently with the coming into force of the "Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir State" on 26/01/1957, "Jammu and Kashmir PSC" was established, under section 128 of the Constitution of J&K, on 02/09/1957, with Major General Yadev Nath Singh PVC, as it is 1st Chairman. Under section 129 of the Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir the Chairman and the Members of the PSC are appointed by the Governor for a period of five years or till he attains the age of 65 years whichever is earlier.
