Reservation : The reservation for engagement of apprentices for the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes and Physcially handicapped, Ex-Servicemen, Children of Ex-Servicemen is 1:8, 1:20, 27:100, 3:100 and 3:100 respectively on the basis of total number of apprentices to be engaged in terms of Apprentices Act.1961.
Selection Process : The Selection for Engagement of Appprentices based on Merit, taking into consideration the Marks scored in the following exeminations, category wise with weightage of Marks as under: SSC / X Std : 70%,  ITI : 30%
