Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) invites application for the post of 06 District Welfare Officer in the Department of Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes, Government of Punjab. Apply before 19 March 2015.

Eligibility Criteria :    
  • Educational Qualification : Graduate of a recognized University with at least 5 years experience as Social Worker especially amongst the Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes. The candidate having qualification of M.A. in the subject falling under the classification of ‘Social Sciences’ or Sociology and possessing Technical Knowledge experience in the field of Social Welfare Department’s activities will be given preference and Punjabi of Matriculation or its equivalent standard.
  • Nationality : Indian
  • Age Limit : 21 to 37 Years of age as on  19.03.2015
Selection Process : Selection will be based on Competitive Examination.
Application Fee : Candidates have to pay Rs. 1125/- for Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes of all States and Backward Classes of Punjab State only, Rs. 3000/- for All Others Categories (including Lineal Descendent of Ex-servicemen, Punjab), Rs. 500/- for Ex-Servicemen of Punjab state only and Rs. 1750/- for Physically Handicapped, Punjab State only through challan any Branch of State Bank of Patiala only.
